"ABOUT US"

The "Lost Coyotes" is a motorcycle club dedicated to the promotion and participation in both desert races and dual-sport events. It's members participate in AMA District 37 desert events. The club is one of the oldest desert race clubs in southern California. Headquartered in Lancaster, CA, the club holds it's meetings on the second Wednesday of each month in the recreation room at 2330 East Avenue J-8.

1967 July Hare Scrambles, Holiday Hills - First race to prove club's ability to put on race.
1968 March Hare Scrambles, Galileo Hill - 557 entries
1969 August Euro Scrambles, Holiday Hills
1970 July Hare Scrambles, Hi Vista - Lost Angles drank all the Coyotes' beer while club was away working on the course.
1971 January Euro Scrambles, Bird Springs - 693 entries - Famous railroad siding decision. District no help.
1971 June Hare Scrambles, Dove Springs - Late results, club penalized, no race allowed in 72, club boycotted 1973 race.
1974 December Hare Scrambles, Teagle Wash - After race, club decides to hold races every other year - Club's first race at Red Mtn.
1976 April Euro Scrambles, Teagle Wash - Held jointly with Buzzards MC - Buzzards north side of tracks, Coyotes south side.
1978 March Hare Scrambles, Teagle Wash - Checker brakes leg trying to cut course.
1980 2 Day Euro Scrambles, Searles Station - Dan Smith won Sunday's race but was
1982 May Hare Scrambles, Edwards AFB - Race not D37 santioned.
1983 March Hare Scrambles, Edwards AFB - Race restricted to Edwards approved off-road use area.
